Is SEC The Best Conference? SEC vs. Big 10

Georgia vs. Minnesota – How bad is the Bulldogs this year, well pretty bad. Minnesota is not looking much better though losing to Northern Illinois and South Dakota. Georgia with losses against South Carolina and Arkansas has had little more competition to play against.  This game goes to Georgia though just for the fact that they score more points than they give up in a week on average and Minnesota does not.
Winner: Georgia

Mississippi vs. Purdue – Robert Marve was knocked out for Purdue but Mississippi has not played well thus far and even though Purdue is averaging giving up more points than they score still are 2-2. Mississippi is 2-2 as well but I cannot in good conscience pick a team that lost to Jacksonville St. So I am giving this game to Purdue in a nail bitter.
Winner: Purdue

Vanderbilt vs. Illinois – Hey can we say a more boring game to watch than this one would be, Illinois is 2-1 but haven’t beat anybody out of the State of Illinois. Vanderbilt would have a hard time matching up with Illinois athleticism, and for that simple reason Illinois takes this game in a must not watch game.
Winner- Illinois

Mississippi State vs. Northwestern – I was going to match up Mississippi State vs. Penn State but don’t think that is fair since Northwestern record is little deceiving.  Mississippi State plays a tough defense and Northwestern been squeaking by and if they play Mississippi State they just don’t get lucky again.
Winner- Mississippi State

Tennessee vs. Indiana – Even though I think Indiana upsets Michigan this week, I’ am not sure if they are ready to play with a Tennessee, now on the other hand Tennessee has been dropping off big time in past few years. Tennessee thus far has won the games they were supposed to win and lost the ones they were supposed to as well. Indiana plays good offense this year and defense is pretty stout and for that reason Indiana takes this game.
Winner- Indiana

Kentucky vs. Wisconsin – Well Kentucky was looking pretty good but then got embarrassed by Florida, and Wisconsin is pretty much what everybody thought they were going to be. So the question would be could Kentucky stop Wisconsin’s rushing attack? Wisconsin has not been truly tested this year so it will be interesting game, but I find Wisconsin’s ability to run the ball too great for Kentucky.
Winner- Wisconsin

South Carolina vs. Penn State – Well the fact that Penn State is having a hard time moving the ball and South Carolina moves the ball very well could be the deciding difference in this game. Penn State plays a better defense than South Carolina but South Carolina is no slouch. At the end of this game South Carolina’s offense would be to stout for Penn St.
Winner- South Carolina

Arkansas vs. Iowa- This is probably would be a better game than it would look like on paper. Iowa lost to Arizona and Arkansas lost to Alabama big difference there. Also Arkansas was in a position to beat the top team in the nation for most the game. Arkansas offense is to high powered for Iowa but Iowa would make it competitive.
Winner- Arkansas

LSU vs. Michigan State – Well Michigan States biggest win was probably a worse team than the worse team LSU has played thus far. LSU is too talented on defense and run a good offense to be taken over by Michigan State. Good season for the Spartans thus far but not going to beat those Tigers.
Winner- LSU

Florida vs. Michigan – Well let’s see if Florida can stop Denard Robinson then they beat Michigan easily but that would be a big task to do. Rodriguez has Michigan playing with confidence finally and can be tough to beat. Florida’s offensive woes started to turn around Kentucky, but Kentucky was not much on the defensive side either. This game is honestly a tossup and would be fun to watch at the end of the game though I have the Gators coming out victorious.
Winner- Florida

Auburn vs. Ohio St. – Well in order to play the champs since there are only 11 teams in the Big Ten they need to get by Auburn first. Auburn plays inspired football and finds a way to win, but they give up an early lead and against Ohio St. that would be their downfall. Ohio St takes an early lead and they will never give it back up. Auburn would end up making it a close game but at the end Ohio St is victorious.
Winner- Ohio St.

Alabama vs. Ohio St.- Well this matchup is very likely to happen at the end of the year were will find out for sure who the winner will be. The last time the Buckeyes played a SEC team in the National Championship Game it was ugly but I think they come little better prepared this time. They make it a long fought out game and like USC vs. Texas a few years ago where Vince Young made the difference this time it will be Terrell Pryor.  It is Ohio St over Alabama in a classic game.
Winner- Ohio St.

Well if you just play the 11 games it makes it 6-5 SEC, Ohio St playing twice gives it 6-6, so straight up the SEC is slightly better but some of those games could go either way. Next week I will take the Big 12 to see how they match up. Leave your thoughts in comments.
