NFL Week 2 - Fantasy Football Tuesday Morning Hangover

With Week 2 in the book, there were some close games, heart breaking loses, a few suprises, and key injuries. Pretty much a normal NFL week, so with now for the Fantasy Football Tuesday Morning Hangover...

Top Shelf
Matt Schaub - 497 Passing Yards with 3 TDs and an INT. From Dud to Stud, looks like Schaub got back into the swing of things.
Aaron Rodgers - 255 Passing Yards with 2 TDs, also 20 Rushing Yards and 1 Rushing TD. Just another day at the office for him, but still a stellar performance.
Jay Culter - 277 Passing Yards with 3 TDs. He's got a hot hand right now, play him while he's winging the play, but he could be finding new life in the Mike Martz system. See Matt Forte (Week1)
Honorable Mention: P. Manning, M. Vick, M. Sanchez, D. McNabb

Jahvid Best - 78 Rushing Yards with 2 TDs on top of 154 Receiving Yards with 1 TD through the air. Best accounted for the Lion's first five touchdowns of the seasons, not sure if can keep this pace up or anything near it, but it has been interesting to watch so far.
Jason Snelling - 129 Rushing Yards with 3 TDs with 57 Receiving Yards and a TD in his normal role as a 3rd Down / Pass Catching Back. This was a great job fill in an injured Turner, but who knows if he will be able to to get in more if Turner will return to full action.
LeSean McCoy - 120 Rushing Yards for 3 TDs. This was a career day for McCoy, this isn't an every week expectation.
Honorable Mention: A. Peterson, T. Hightower, F. Gore

Andre Johnson - 158 Receiving Yards and one TD. See Matt Schaub (Above).
Kevin Walter - 144 Receiving Yards and one TD. When your QB throws for near 500 yards and you have AJ opposite of you, you're bound to get some scarps.
DeSean Jackson - 135 Receiving Yards and one TD. He's finally stepping up and being that #1 WR and producing with having to return kicks.
Honorable Mention: R. Wayne, M. Floyd, D. Keller, A. Gates

Miniatures
Joe Flacco - I think he forgot what color he was suppose to be throwing to (4 INTs), hopefully a momentary hiccup, but we'll have to wait and see.
Brett Farve - He had some nice yardage, but seemed to only be interested in throwing it to Miami players (3 INTs), could be the early on set of Alzheimer's.
Dishonorable Mention: Anyone under center for the Titans, D. Garrad, M. Moore

Chris Johnson - The Steelers D looked good, and shut down CJ, and except for one play, but luckily for the Steelers and Offensive line helped them with a holding call.
Maurice Jones-Drew - A decent showing last week put most of the worries about MJD to rest, at least we thought so.
Dishonorable Mention: S. Greene, J. Charles, Dallas RBs

Chad Ochocinco - A defensive struggle always proves hard for any fantasy player to overcome.
Marques Colston - With a crowded recieving core its going to pove hard for anyone of these Saints WR to shine.
Dishonorable Mention: S. Smith (NYG), A. Boldin, Any and All Vikings WR

Bargain Bin
Kyle Orton - He is only owned in 45% of leagues, and as a valid FF starter this is shocking, if he's available this is a must for a waiver claim.
Josh Freeman - Freeman is the poor man's Orton right now.. Not a starter, but a nice back up or spot starter if your QB is injured or forgetting what team he's passing to. Only owned in 5 % of leagues, keep an eye on him.
Jason Snelling / Mike Tolbert - Both of their respective starters went down with injuries that kept them out for the remainder of the game. Turner and Mathews said they could have went back in but didn't, Snelling is a must get Handcuff for Turner owners and not a bad pick up overall as a 3rd Down/Pass Catching Back. Tolbert right now is just a watch candidate till more is released on Mathews.
Kevin Walter - With Owen Daniels still coming of a nagging knee injury it looks like Walter is Schaub's new favorite #2, no chance he'll get more targets than AJ on a regular basis, but he looked good this weekend.
Demaryius Thomas - He was picked before that one guy, oh yea Tim Tebow, for a reason. Thomas finally looks healthy and ready to contribute. With shades of a young Brandon Marshall coming out in the game this is another great waiver claim if you need depth at WR. Get him now, he's 2% ownership is bound to jump after this weekend performance.
Mark Clayton - He was highlighted in this section last week and I'm not sure why he is here again, but he still only owned in 36 % of leagues. He only had 2 receptions against the Raiders, but it was for 2 Touchdowns. If I'm going to own an Rams WR it is going to be Clayton.
Mike Williams (TB) - As long as Freeman keeps playing well it looks like Williams will be his #1 target and will be somewhat fantasy relevant till proven otherwise. This was his second straight week with a TD.
